About this eBook

Stephen Mullins, the discerning Earl of Stone, meticulously chose a suitable bride, Lady Louisa Breckenridge, who embodied the genteel traits he sought in a life partner. However, as their courtship unfolds, Louisa's yearning for authentic love collides with Stone's calculated intentions, propelling them into a tumultuous journey of self-discovery and passion.

Lady Louisa, ever the fervent romantic, surrendered her heart to Lord Stone's beguiling allure, only to be ensnared in a web of deception that shatters her illusions. Fleeing from the heartache of betrayal, she unwittingly draws Stone into a riveting escapade when her escape is met with abduction, intertwining their fates in a dance of danger and desire.

As fate cunningly orchestrates their paths, Stone's once-practical perspective transforms into ardent devotion. With each shared challenge, their mutual admiration evolves into a love that defies what either ever imagined. Amidst the labyrinth of deceit and emotional tumult, their hearts entwine in a battle against their own uncertainties, illuminating a path toward authentic love as they grapple with the question of whether they can transcend the barriers that threaten their union.

Amidst the backdrop of Regency elegance, Stephen and Louisa endeavor to untangle their feelings, mending the frayed fabric of trust while navigating a maze of emotions. Will their journey through heartache and intrigue lead them to the culmination of a love that transcends pretense, culminating in an embrace that triumphs over the shadows of deceit?

In Earl of Stone, the echoes of romantic betrayal resound against a crescendo of passion, reminding us that even amidst great turmoil, the heart's desires refuse to be silenced.

My attention was caught right away when the book opens with the heroine overhearing her betrothed and his former mistress talking. What she hears distresses her, and she severs their betrothal. In her eagerness to get away from him, she endangers herself… and her former betrothed steps in to protect her. What I loved about this book is that the author truly showed us these events as they unfolded in real time. Having to work together to survive, they come to better know and appreciate each other

this was another strong entry in the Fated for a Rogue series, it had that historical fiction element that I was hoping for. The overall feel had that concept that I enjoyed. The time-period was used perfectly and thought the overall feel worked with the story. I enjoyed the way Amanda Mariel wrote this and can't wait for more. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Short but oh so good. The heroine of the tale finds out some very disturbing news and she react to it kind of the way you would expect. Then a real challenge occurs not just for her but the hero. This is when the story gets interesting. I found this story to be a hoot the way these two went back and forth was priceless. I loved the book and highly recommend.
