This was a great read. It was the first book in this series that I have read but I really liked the couple, Jade and Arlo, and I enjoyed learning about Jade's roommates as well, so I'll have to check out the other stories as well. This book contained magic, mystery, and a magical problem that still isn't solved by the end. It was a little steamy and also funny. I loved the fact that Jade started insecure and learned to have confidence in her earthly powers and her body as well. Can't wait for the next book. Jade may call herself fluffy and not very clever but she is very much selling herself short as I have to say that she is such a loving, caring and down to earth person (pardoning the unintentional pun). She deserves the beautiful healer boy she has lost her heart to without even realising. Arlo sees Jade as she should be seen. He just needs to get her to see the same thing when she looks in the mirror. It will take more than one kiss to do it though and he is no longer willing to wait.

I love this series it keeps getting more and more intriguing. This is Jade and Arlo’s story. She’s an earth witch who seems to always get in accidents and Arlo is the healer fixing her up. And we have the return of Maba, a blood witch. While the girls continue to figure why magic is disappearing there are still those who want them to fail. Love this series, fast , steamy read and it keeps you wanting more. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
