Globalisation has evolved to become the dominant economic, cultural, environmental and political phenomenon of our time. In economic terms, debates now extend beyond concepts of 'winners and losers', to key questions of how to deal with the problems unleashed by globalisation while preserving its benefits. Partha Gangopadhyay is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Economics and Finance, University of Western Sydney, Australia. Manas Chatterji is Professor of Management at The State University of New York at Binghamton, USA. He is also Guest Professor at Peking University, China, Honorary Distinguished Professor at Poznan University of Economics, Poland and Honorary Distinguished Professor & Senior Fellow in Public Policy at George Mason University, USA.
