Eric McDaniel
Missing the concluding note: In explaining the abrupt conclusion of the novel's narrative, there was a concluding note explain that Pym (the "author" of the narrative) had been unable to include the final chapters, but that they might, someday, be added. It also explains (or "explains") the mysterious writing encountered in the final chapters.

Have always loved reading Poe. This is the only full book he had wriirn that I have read. His darkness and lovr of the surreal and supernatural is prevailent throughout the story. The end was abrupt leaving you to fill in the rest.

The scene where the ship full of dead people pass by was hair-raising, as was the cannibalism. The ending was incomprehensible nonsense however.
