About this ebook

#1 bestselling YA Norse-mythology-based Paranormal romance:

Runes (book 1):

Seventeen-year-old Raine Cooper has enough on her plate dealing with her father’s disappearance, her mother’s erratic behavior and the possibility of her boyfriend relocating. The last thing she needs is Torin St. James—a mysterious new neighbor with a wicked smile and uncanny way of reading her.

Raine is drawn to Torin’s dark sexiness against her better judgment, until he saves her life with weird marks and she realizes he is different. But by healing her, Torin changes something inside Raine. Now she can’t stop thinking about him. Half the time, she’s not sure whether to fall into his arms or run.

Scared, she sets out to find out what Torin is. But the closer she gets to the truth the more she uncovers something sinister about him. What Torin is goes back to an ancient mythology and Raine is somehow part of it. Not only is she and her friends in danger, she must choose a side, but the wrong choice will cost Raine her life

Immortals (book 2):

Nothing can stop Raine Cooper when she wants something...

Raine finally knows that her gorgeous neighbor, Torin St. James, is a legend straight out of Norse mythology, and that her feelings for him are strong. Torin is crazy about Raine too, breaking the one rule he lives by: Never fall for a mortal. The problem is he no longer remembers her, his memories erased by Norns—Norse destiny deities—to punish her for defying them.

So Raine comes up with a plan...

She will make Torin forget his one rule a second time and fall in love with her all over again.

But she quickly learns that well-laid plans do not work when dealing with deities and supernatural beings. Desperate, Raine makes choices that could not only tear her and Torin further apart, but lead to the destruction of everything and everyone she loves gods might have erased Torin's memories, but they didn't take into account his feelings for Raine and hers for him.

Grimnirs (book 3):

Straight out of the psych ward, Cora just wants her life to be normal. She doesn’t want to see souls or the reapers collecting them. The guy she’s loved from a distance for years moves away without saying goodbye. So yes, she’s nursing a serious heartbreak. It’s no wonder love is the last thing on her mind when Echo storms into her life.

Too bad Echo is the poster boy for everything she hates in a guy—hot, beautiful, and cocky. He is also a soul reaper. A Grimnir. The very beings she wants out of her life. Maybe normal is overrated because Cora wants it all. Answers. Love. A life.

RUNES (Book 1) RUNES represents a refreshing twist away from a genre flooded with fallen angels, vampires, werewolves and zombies. I will be the first to admit that I am sorely uneducated in Norse mythology. That leaves me trying to play catch-up in a story that is a unique and interesting read. What would I do if I finally got everything I thought I wanted only to find that it isn’t what I really wanted at all? At the same time, I learn that ‘magic’ is real, and I find myself drawn into a whole new world I never knew existed. These are the things I consider while reading through this book. The premise is spellbinding and Walters is a great storyteller. This is a very interesting book with likable characters that develop slowly throughout. This is a journey from childhood memories to the sacrifices people make for the ones that they love. One thing that I notice throughout the story is that there is a lot of give and take. For every positive occurrence it seems there is a corresponding negative occurrence or outcome. It seems to affirm that there is a balance to life and destiny. Toward the end of the book, there are some surprising twists and very important information is revealed. I am looking forward to following their further development in book two of the Runes Series. I definitely need to increase my understanding of Norse mythology before then IMMORTALS (Book 2) If you look closely at the story of IMMORTALS, you will find many plot lines that relate to your everyday life. With a little thought, you will see that Walters has woven the paranormal into very human concepts. The result is a story that will engage any reader. Love and heartache, friendship and betrayal, high school drama, and grown up problems. All of these characters show growth, more complexity, and become closer to their destiny. Walters has taken all of these topics and infused them with the supernatural creating a story that is both fantasy and reality. You will find yourself immersed in a book that will capture you and hold you until the very end. I recommend that you familiarize yourself with Norse mythology before you sit down to read IMMORTALS. It will enhance your reading experience. GRIMNIRS (Book 3) GRIMNIRS is a refreshing look, at the Runes ongoing saga, through Cora’s eyes. Her point of view is well delivered, from confusion over seemingly being in two places at once through learning to trust again and falling in love. Walters does an excellent job conveying a plausible inner, as well as character, dialogue. Learning more about Cora (her family life, her friendships and her capacity to love) adds another layer to the Runes Series. I really like Echo, the newest main character introduced. I like his well-developed backstory and really enjoy his evolution throughout the story. I find GRIMNIRS to be entertaining and very well-written. I recommend this book (in fact, the entire series so far) to anyone who enjoys stories in the new adult, paranormal, romance genres.

Runes is a new and refreshing story of a teenage girl and her involvement with Valkyries and Norns. This book had me hooked from the first page. Raine is a strong, independent girl who becomes torn between her best friend whom she has loved for a long time and her new neighbor, the hot sexy man who is always around to help her. The ending of this book leaves you wanting more!! For a YA paranormal romance I gladly recommend Runes, by Ednah Walters. I’m looking forward to the next books in the series. Wow, Ednah Walters doesn’t disappoint with her second installment of her Runes series – “Immortals”. There is so much you learn about the Norse Gods, and the darkness that falls over one of Raine’s friends throughout this book. The relationship between Torin and Raine is magically and sweet. There are plenty of “swoon” worthy scenes for you to fall more in love with Torin and Raine as a reader. Don’t miss this exciting paranormal romance. I really enjoyed reading “Grimnirs” book 3 of the Runes Series by Ednah Walters. It was enjoyable learning more about Cora from her POV, and especially the new character the leather wearing, hot Echo – the Grimnir who stole Cora’s heart. I love the development of Cora and Echo’s relationship through all they endure. Cora’s story is endearing and enjoyable. Don’t miss a chance to get to know this amazing character in the Runes Series.

Absolutely mind blowing Series. A Must Read!! RUNES: This is my first time reading Ednah Walters and I have only one word: WOW. I loved Runes, it's an absolutely magical and powerful story that transports you into the world of Norse Mythology. With a hearty dose of romance, strength and self discovery in its depth, the characters will have you wishing you were alongside them every step of the way. I'm a Fan! Ednah is definitely in my list of favorite authors now IMMORTALS: Absolutely amazing!! you would think that after fighting, risking it all for what you want and finally achieving it you would get to actually enjoy it... Wrong!! Just like in life getting exactly what you want comes with a whole new set of challenges in these series and no one like Ednah Walters to guide us through discovering the power that surfaces when you realize you will do what needs to be done for love. Immortals not only shows you what happens when you find yourself in an unexpected world of magic to which you now belong to, but also creates powerful characters that make the story even more compelling, attractive and scintillating!. Torin St. James is HOT, powerful and honorable... Did I mention HOT?!!! So hot the pages sizzle from time to time And Raine is beautiful, sweet, loyal and Stronger than even she realizes, i love this story because it truly shows us no matter what path you are on you can always change your destiny, if you want it bad enough and are willing to risk it all you can make it happen, mixed with wonderfully Magic, and mythology this book is really a scintillating experience. GRIMNIRS: I absolutely loved this book, it says it can be read as a standalone but i recommend to read it with the full Runes series for an even more amazing and complete experience, it will give you a much better understanding and insight into the whole story and characters, trust me you HAVE to read all the books! That said this book is insanely good! You are thrown into Cora's world and how it changes by colliding with Raine's world, after deciding to fight her fears to help others, Cora becomes a force to be reckoned with all of her own. We are introduced to Echo, let me just stop to say YUM!!.... HOT HOT HOT!!!, I was never too big on bad boy characters but Mother may I???, Ednah has completely changed my way of thinking, I want an order of Echo to go please!... ok that out the way I love this story and how it shows the different depth of the characters, that not everything is as it seems and the internal battles that force us to make decisions, we also see how love can transform the toughest of hearts and once again we explore just how far someone can go for love... I don't even know how Ednah creates this wonderful worlds of fantasy, her mind just goes to places mine could never even reach!! Luckily she's willing to share and all we really need to do is let her take us there!, the depth and conviction of the characters is unique and they are also unexpectedly funny wich for me is a huge plus. The way the stories unravel as you go along really captures your mind as well as your heart.
