About this ebook

Why did I do that? Behind every choice is a motive–like pleasure, comfort, or control. Motives can be hard to identify and even harder to change. In CCEF’s Choices: Why Do I Do What I Do?, biblical counseling expert Edward T. Welch shows all who are perplexed by their own choices that God’s word alone can transform our motives and move us toward the lasting change we desire. Pointing us to the Bible for practical help, Welch suggests three manageable steps toward change. As we grow in our understanding of God, he explains, we will discover that we are already on the path to making new choices that honor God and bless others.
