Choosing Happily Ever After: A Second Chance Small Town Romance

I love love love second chance romance and this one is so good!! Hope and Levi had two very different pictures of the future but 10 years later, Levi is back home and a second chance just might seem possible. There was quite a bit of angst in this story that had me shedding a tear or two but the ending brought so much light and love. I am so looking forward to more of this series. There's so many characters that I need to see get their HEAs!!!

This was a beautifully written story and an apt start to a new series. The characters of Levy and Hope were so like able, though both can be so stubborn. There were times I wanted to shake Hope by the shoulders and times when I felt like Levi needed the shaking. I really enjoyed reading this book and the way Ms. Aitken introduced the characters, even though this one is a stand-alone, I can’t wait to read the others’ stories in this series. Got me hooked. This first book in the series Ever After is a fast paced second chance romance with a few hurdles to overcome. Levi Langdon and Hope Turner were HS sweethearts up until Levi left Hope behind in order to pursue his dreams . He knew she wouldn’t be happy away form home and he couldn’t stay. Fast forward ten years and she’s now a respected wedding planner and holds weddings in the farm that belonged to her family. Levi is back hoping to rekindle what he had with Hope. But fate has other plans. Will they get their second chance? Will they realize that the obstacles can be a blessing in disguise? The plot was engaging and though I felt the story was rushed, it still was a good one. Can’t wait to see what happens in book 2 of the series. Will it be Faith’s story? Will she have to choose a future with one of the two men in her life? I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
