At the Stars

It was phenomenal. It was dark, and heartbreaking, but getting to know these characters was a wonderful experience. They all have bad pasts that have left them broken, which you often see in books. However, in this book, it wasn't like they were trying to put the pieces back together so much as figuring out how to carry those pieces. This was a very emotional book. We all have our baggage, and that helps build a strong connection with the book. Cassie and Jake are very unique. Cassie is such a strong individual. You see her falling apart at the beginning, but following her through the book was interesting to say the least. I don't want to give anything away, but know that it is amazing. What a great character! The way Jake feels he needs to constantly punish himself is agonizing. Elisabeth Staab's writing really brings these characters to life. I don't usually get teary-eyed with books, but this one was special. A.J. and Dante were great for the book as well, and I would love to see them get their stories told. One of my absolute favorite things about this book was the different perspectives. I love going back and forth between Cassie's and Jake's views. It got me all kinds of twis

Did not want to put this book down! Such a good story line, loved it. So sad it ended but absolutely loved how it ends ❤

Highly recommend this five star book Great characters, interesting plot, I didn't want it to end.
