I have read every book by Elise Noble and love them all - and this one is a little bit different. She continues to be able to add some fresh ideas to her stories. This time, the people in question have known each other for a long time. Sloane is a great mix of professional efficiency and personal messiness - makes for a really endearing character. I also love that she is a curvy girl. Logan is sweet and hot - like all the Blackwood men. Part of what makes the story entertaining is the issues that befall the antagonists in the story - whether they are truly bad or just completely unsuitable for Sloane. It is fun to imagine Sloane and Logan dancing around their feelings at the office. The story also weaves in appearances by many of the other Blackwood characters, which is always fun for those of us who have come to know them all well. On a more personal note - this new book arrived at a great time where being stuck isolated at home, nothing is more comforting than a book that makes you laugh, sigh, and blush!

Elise is a great writer! No matter how many of her books I read, I will still want more. She always have a way of making you keep turning the page till the end and then leave you wanting more! Nickle is about Sloane Emmy's PA she is been popping out in some of Blackwood books, both her and Logan, to have their own story is a very thoughtful one from Elise. Sloane was going through a bad break up and unknown to her stolen identity., in comes Logan and a few other Blackwood guys plus Emmy and Ana..then you have yourself a paging interesting and fun story! You need to get this book I promise you won't regret it.

Wow! Elise has done it again with Nickel! She tells Logan’s and Sloane’s story using humor and intrigue. Logan, a Blackwood operative, and Sloane, Emmy and Blacks’s top notch administrative assistant, are interested in each other, but resistant to express their feelings for each other. Logan’s attempts to retrieve Sloane’s personal property from her ex, the mother who loves the ex, the ever present office romance pool, or discovering why there are men after Sloane are guaranteed to provide reading enjoyment.
