Dark Secrets 2: No Time to Die; The Deep End of Fear

Seventeen-year-old Lauren Brandt, daughter of a prominent Maryland senator, has returned to the small town where she was born - and where, ten years ago, her disturbed mother drowned under mysterious circumstances. But Wisteria is not the same as it was during Lauren's childhood. Nora seems convinced that the ghost of Lauren's mother haunts the house and its grounds - and a series of unexplainable events soon makes Lauren wonder if Nora, however disturbed she is, may be right. And soon, Lauren begins to believe that her mother's death was anything but an accident - and that she herself may be next to die. This was a suspenseful mystery full of unexpected twists and turns. You have to read the book to figure out what the Deep End of Fear is about.

This was actually quite a good book. The first portion was very exciting to me. The murder mystery plus some romance, but I was more attracted to the problem and solution. When Jenny finally discovered the culprit, I was shocked. I thought for sure It'd have been the camp director. But all in all, it was a good read. I found the second portion the best of the series. I am, however, part English, so I found myself heavily immersed in Kate's thoughts and actions. Though the main culprit caught me by surprise, I'd been expecting it the whole time deep down. I found the romance part lessened, but to me, that made for a more interesting story. The book series all together was amazing. I liked them quite a lot. Although I do wish Mary Claire had sectioned the portions more thoroughly. But no matter; I loved it regardless.

Her writing is amazing I've read the first two now I'm reading Back door at midnight and she knows how to entertain me :)
