After reading hundreds of suspense novels over many years, I've often thought what I would do if someone abducted me and threatened me or my child if I didn't give them certain information that I didn't have or had no idea what they were talking about! What a terrifying situation to be in! I'm sure it happens all the time. People threaten loved ones of people they want to given them information but those people are innocent and have no idea what is going on. Such is the case in thise book. Danielle and Lucy are innocently dragged into Danielle's brother's business. Lucy is a darling little girl and I fell in love with her instantly! Talk about faith of a little child! She has it in spades! Danielle's ex, Reece, just happens to see her in a national park when she is fleeing with the abductor and follows her. What happens after that is terrifying! SO much action and suspense! Who is demanding information, who is blowing things up, who is always one step ahead of them? Reece intends to answer all of those things or die trying!
