About this ebook

First Story in the Cordova Royal Family Trilogy!Princess Anastasia Elisia Marquenda of Cordova is horrified when she is told that, despite a decade long betrothal, her wedding date to the arrogant, womanizing, domineering Prince Erik Marcus Phillips of Montbain is three weeks in the future! She decides that she should have a little freedom as well. Escaping from her gilded cage for only a few hours to purchase a cup of coffee is exciting. And when she runs into the most handsome man she's ever met in her life? It only gets better.

Freedom, and love, can be quite addictive. But what to do about the engagement to a man she loathes versus the man she's fallen in love with?

This was a sweet story steeped with a bit of angst of two people who are betrothed to someone else. Ana thought her betrothal to Prince Erik had been forgotten since he never came for her six years ago. Now she has been informed that the wedding will be taking place in three weeks. Nothing she says or does can stop it from happening. To escape from her turmoil she slips past her guards and indulges in a coffee out in public. It is there that she meets Marcus. What begins as a brief flirtation soon becomes clandestine meetings, romantic dinners, dancing and a chemistry that cannot be denied. I really enjoyed this quick read with a twist that the reader is aware of and that the author sets up for the big showdown. Knowing it was coming, I was on tether hooks as to when, where and how Ana and Erik would learn the truth. It was a charming and enjoyable journey to be sure.

First, the description said it was 181 pages but the download was only 83. Then, in two spots, there's pages missing. And not just one or two pages either, multiple pages (almost 30 in one spot) with whole chunks of the story missing! The story (what I got of it) itself was nice, just wish I'd gotten to read all of it. I wish I'd bought another book... Wish I could get a refund!!!

1.) The story was okay though there are parts in the book where Erik calls her Ana when in fact it still should've been Annie. 2.) Where's the rest of the book? It states 181 pages in the description but there's ony 83 pages. What happened to the rest of the pages?

About the author

Although Elizabeth Lennox wanted to be a romance novelist since the eighth grade, that dream only became a (paid) reality for her in 2010 and a full time job in 2012! Along the way, she received a BS in History and held different jobs in the real estate, government consulting, and financial industries.  All during that time, though, she was always writing.  To date, she has published over fifty romances (and counting), using her personal experiences, dreams, and travels throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean as backdrops for her stories.

She lives in Virginia with her husband and two children.  They are just outside of Washington, D.C. and many of her novels are set in this area too.

She loves hearing from her readers!  Connect with her on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/Author.Elizabeth.Lennox), Twitter (@ElizabethLenno1), or email her at [email protected].
