Full Force: A Romantic Suspense Novel

“Mustang” Ford, a member of Declan’s Defenders, is asked to check out a situation on his way to a team meeting. What he finds is a crashed car and a masked man with a gun chasing a young woman. He rescues the beautiful, captivating woman and vows to keep her safe. Emily Chastain, a Russian translator and university professor, was basically pushed out of the Russian Embassy after completing her latest translation job. Unsure what she’s translated that would cause such a reaction, she quickly leaves. Almost immediately, Emily feels as though she’s being watched. After barely escaping a hit and run, Emily contacts her friend to let her know what’s happening. Declan’s Defenders to the rescue! This is the third novel in the series. Although it is a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading these stories in order. There’s an all-encompassing mystery that is woven throughout all three novels, therefore it’s somewhat of a cliffhanger. A different couple’s story is relayed in each novel. This story was a true page turner! The action was non-stop, kept me guessing, and had me on the edge of my seat throughout the story. Mustang is your typical protective, Alpha male-with a hint of sweetness. Emily is NOT a damsel in distress and that’s what I liked the most about her. Mustang and Emily having explosive chemistry from the start! My favorite novel thus far! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Non-stop action from start to finish! Full Force is the third book in the Declan's Defenders series but you can read it as a standalone with no problem. I highly recommend the first two books, though because they really are great reads. They also give you a lot of background information that will enhance your enjoyment of this book. The story revolves around Emily Chastain who is a Russian translator and teacher, and Frank 'Mustang' Ford who is part of the Declan's Defenders team. After a translation session at the Russian embassy, Emily has too many near misses with another car to be considered a coincidence. Mustang is assigned to protect her until Declan's Defenders can figure out who is trying to hurt her. Like the other books in this series, this one is full of action and suspense. We are kept guessing, until late in the story, as to who the bad guys are. There are several twists and turns to lead us in the wrong direction. 😊 Emily and Mustang get their HFN in this story but the ongoing mystery for this series is not yet solved. I'm looking forward to reading the next book very much! An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

This is a roller coaster ride of suspense and danger from the first page and just keeps on until you turn that last page Emily Chastain is a linguistics professor of languages at a university but she also acts as a Russian translator and her latest assignment was at the Russian embassy. She has signed all the usual non disclosure forms and now she is about to leave but something feels wrong the PI who she was translating for his been held still and who was the man been hustled who looked familiar. When three attempts are made on her life (made to look like traffic accidents) she knows she needs help So she asks her friend who has recently met and dated a member of a security group. She is soon spirited away to Charlies the benefactor of Declan's Defenders for safety and Ford "Mustang" us put on her case after he comes to her rescue after the final attack. Will he be able to keep her safe what is the mystery she has stumbled onto and who was the man she saw at the embassy It will all come to a stunning conclusion as Mustang fights to keep the woman he has grown to love safe.
