About the author

Elli Woollard is an exciting talent on the picture books scene, who started writing stories after an embarrassing incident in which her youngest son broke Michael Rosen's glasses. In addition to picture books, she also writes children's poems. Her snappy rhymes, catchy rhythms and witty stories are sure to make her a huge success. The Giant of Jum, her first book for Macmillan, was a hit debut and the start of her winning collaboration with Benji Davies. Elli lives in London with her four children, her husband and two guinea pigs.

Benji Davies is an award-winning children's illustrator and animation director. Benji has worked on a diverse range of projects, from music videos to animated films, but now creates beautiful, best-selling picture books. His books have sold all over the world in many different languages. In 2014 he was awarded the Oscar's First Book Prize and was shortlisted for Booktrust's Best Book Awards and in 2015 he was awarded the WIA Children's Book Award. His books for Macmillan include Winston was Worried and The Giant of Jum, written by Elli Woollard. Benji lives with his wife in London.
