Then another woman is murdered - a priest. As Walsingham prepares for its annual Easter re-enactment of the Crucifixion, the race is on to unmask the killer before they strike again...

Elly Griffiths just gets better all the time as a crime novelist. Her deft characterizations are sympathetically handled and the plot moves along at an engaging pace. Less archaeological stuff in the latest offering and Cathbad the druid only features tangentially. But it's a good read.

It was a good storyline but not as complex as the other Ruth Galloway mysteries. I really missed the archaeological element which usually plays a more prominent part in the story.

I've loved the Ruth Galloway series. Great crime stories without the gore and some interesting historical/mystical themes.
