About this ebook

'Nothing gets me to a bookstore faster than Eloisa James' Julia Quinn

A wager pits an adventure in disguise against a scandalous night with a rake in the light-hearted, sexy, new Wildes of Lindow Castle romance by New York Times bestselling author Eloisa James.

Lady Betsy Wilde's first season was triumphant by any measure, and a duke has proposed - but before marriage, she longs for one last adventure. No gentleman would agree to her scandalous plan - but Lord Jeremy Roden is no gentleman.

He offers a wager.

If she wins a billiards game, he'll provide the breeches. If he wins . . . she is his, for one wild night.

But what happens after Jeremy realises that one night will never be enough?
He'll have to convince Betsy to say no to the duke.

The fourth book in New York Times bestselling Eloisa James's new series, the Wildes of Lindow Castle, is perfect for fans of Julia Quinn's Bridgertons and Eloisa's Desperate Duchesses

Lady Boadicea Wilde's first season was triumphant by any measure, and a duke has proposed - but before marriage, she longs for one last adventure. No gentleman would agree to her scandalous plan - but Lord Jeremy Roden is no gentleman. He offers a wager. If Betsy wins a billiards game, he'll provide the breeches. If he wins she is his, for one wild night. This is the fourth book in the series, it could easily be read on its own but if like me you love series then I recommend reading from the start & in order. I’ve read the vast majority of the author’s books & have never been disappointed. This is another captivating read, which drew me in from the start & held me until the end. I particularly loved the developing relationship between Jeremy & Betsy & when they committed to each other it wasn’t insta love nor contrived just a natural progression which made it all the more believable & they were perfect for each other. My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

Really enjoyed the book but was frustrated when the author kept saying it was Lady Diana's mum who had shot Lord Jeremy when it was actually Lady Lavinias mum.

About the author

A NEW YORK TIMES bestseller many times over, Eloisa James lives in New York City, where she is a Shakespeare professor (with an M.Phil. from Oxford). She is also the mother of two children and, in a particularly delicious irony for a romance writer, is married to a genuine Italian knight.
