This book was horrible. Both of the characters were very annoying and it was hard to feel any sympathy for either of them. Also after the big misunderstanding instead of saying sorry the hero left for 7 years and became a pirate who killed, stole and slept around.... and she forgives him in under 2 days.... nice... :(

The first time I read this it was beautiful to my young eyes but now I see a lonely woman who deserved better. Lovesick and Loyal indeed! Daisy should had at least two children of her own when he returned. She was smart, capable and had her own money. For once in these stories let the man have to deal! Four stars for being well written though I do love this author.

I loved it. Sure, not very believable, but that is why it is called fiction. Loves both the hero and heroin. Maybe, I would have liked Daisy to hold out a little longer, but than she loved him and he was just too cute. Not crazy about the adultery part, but .... seven years is a long time. Also, no offense, but Daisy told him that the marriage was over, leave and never come back. Maybe a little bit overreacting, but than there would not be a book. Left me with a good feeling.
