Book four in the series and Dani's magic skill level keeps getting stronger. She, the retirees and daughter Grace continue to try to find a way to dispell the hex that keeps their hands tied in so many ways. When Dani finds a gift left for her from a mysterious benefactor, things move along in an interesting way. This is a great series. Lots of fun and mystery. Book five should be quite entertaining as well. I received a copy of this book for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This series just keeps getting better and better. While I'm enjoying the separate mysteries in each book, I'm really looking forward to learning more about the curse. I'm also really enjoying the writing. It leaves you filled with intrigue and suspense. I do kind of wish the cat could talk, only because I love when the author gives them a sassy/snarky attitude/personality. Still enjoyed it. Already looking forward to the next book. I received a free copy and this is my honest opinion.

What an exciting and lovely story! There are two main threads going throughout this book. The first is a claim turned investigation which is a locked door mystery. The second is Dani, Grace and the Retirees starting an investigation into the curse put on all their families. It switches back and forth but is woven well together. We get a lot of good information on witches, spells and a huge surprise about Dani’s mom. I really enjoyed the investigation and how well Dani and Izzy worked together. T
