Since I started reading this series, I was very excited to hear Jasper’s story. And let’s just say Elsie delivered quite well. I love Sloane and Jasper together. They deserve all the happiness they can get. Also, I love when Elsie gives us a sneak peak of the characters next in line. It gets me invested in the next novel. However, the s*x scenes sometimes are a bit extreme. I mean crawling and gagging!! That’s a PASS.

The author uses a lot of similar phrases through the books in the series - if I hear 'column of their throat/spine' again, I might roll my eyes so hard they disappear into my skull! Other than overused phrases and wording, it was an enjoyable continuation from the previous books.

really good read, it gripped me right from the beginning. I have found my new favourite author.

Elsie Silver is a Canadian author of sassy, sexy, small town romance who loves a good book boyfriend and the strong heroines who bring them to their knees. She lives just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia with her husband, son, and three dogs and has been voraciously reading romance books since before she was probably supposed to.
She loves cooking and trying new foods, traveling, and spending time with her boys-especially outdoors. Elsie has also become a big fan of her quiet five am mornings, which is when most of her writing happens.
