This is a Mafia story so much different than others, but a story we all need. Mafia Toy is a spicy, possessive book with a HEA. Out of the three leading characters Sage is my favorite especially towards the end. But my favorite male character is her body guard Riccardo Bianchi who I hope one day gets his own book. Some of the lines ai liked without any spoilers or that I would have to heavily edit are. If this was what the next year would bring, I would be so happy, being their toy. As soon as I had signed that contract, I belonged to the Mafia. This is a must read standalone book that is the second book in this series. Also check out Emilia Rose's other books.

I'm not usually a huge fan of FF relationships in books, I find that for me they just don't translate to the page very well. But this book surprised me maybe because it was written as part of a polyamorous relationship that starts with a beautiful loving relationship with great communication. At least that's how it starts. This book is full of so many different things we have: 🕴️ The Mafia 🇮🇹 Trip to Italy 💰 Billionaire with $ to 🔥 🖼️ Art Lovers 💔 Traumatized Heroine ❤️🩹 Damaged Hero 👨👧👧 MFF Relationship The pace was good never a dull moment, I enjoyed the whole story and was surprised when I came to the end that it was already over. I have voluntarily left this review.

It was a great story, but felt it didn't quite follow through with a few of the plot lines along with several editing errors. Spoilers ahead. The angst level was up there mainly because the third act break up, but also the whole misunderstandings troupe. Laila was my least favorite character and caused more issues than anything. Three weeks into the contract and everyone is in love threw me in this mafia setting. For a boss of the family, he was constantly being questioned by his family. I loved the character development of Con. He showed a vulnerable side, and then became what everyone needed in the end. Sage was my favorite. She was still a main character in the miscommunication troupe. They all were, but I felt like her character shouldn't have had this issue. If you love a FFM dynamic, with instalove for the new throuple, with a mafia boss that is alpha hole cinnamon roll, a miscommunication theme, murder, BC tampering, kidnapping, torture, murder, pregnancy, this is for you.
