About this ebook

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte is a romantic reference work and is therefore mandatory curricula for schools. The story of the book takes place among the scarce wastelands of Yorkshire, which prove to be very rich in dramatic events and are the location of passion and fate of the people living in the estates Wuthering Heights and Manor starlings. Here, Emily Bronte, describes a story of open and secret love and deceit. The tragic development of the plot, paradoxically, does not prevent the happy ending of the events, created by Emily Bronte. The novel was made into a movie several times.

Emily Brontë - Wuthering Heights (Illustrated) (1847) Beware this publisher! 1-star rating is for this particular book, not the novel itself. Downloaded from the Google Play Store when it was offered free. The entire book was there initially, but after reading nearly 2/3 of the book, it became labeled as a "sample" in my Google Play Books library with an option to buy. It said that I had reached the end of the sample, yet I had read 150 pages past that point. Pretty frustrating. This is the 3rd book from this publisher that I have encountered this issue. (Notes: *Errors in the text possibly due to OCR: some quotation marks are replaced with double angle brackets (greater than/less than signs) so open quotes are << & closing quotes are >>, some hyphens/dashes are replaced by em dashes (long dashes). Words that wouldn't usually be hyphenated are broken up by a spaced em dash (e.g. up — stairs, to — day, etc.), which is disruptive to the flow of the text.)
