I enjoyed this, but for me it didn't have the spark of some of Emily Henry's other novels. TBH I think it also didn't help that I read another book with a similar MMC straight afterwards so they kind of merged together into a slightly too perfect man. Anyhoo, an Emily Henry novel is still a great treat with likeable main characters, including a cast of secondary characters who are just as interesting. I received an ARC from the publisher via NetGalley for an honest review.

A fun, breezy book I could recommend to anyone. A tight cast of fun characters, easy to recognize, easy to follow, drama, flirting, loveliness... if you're hunting in this genre, this is what you're looking for. About 3 quarters in they take a pretty boring detour for a while, and the climax of the story doesn't feel very dangerous or high stakes. So I can't say it's truly amazing or anything. But I really enjoyed reading it, and I love the characters and the style. It puts me in a good mood!

Perfect Sunday romance read, Love the characters and the growth and it made me laugh out load more than once!
