~sigh~ Liam almost might as well be a regency gothic hero. He’s got all the brooding moodiness to fit the part, and he’s got a wagon train of baggage to explain it. Having read Jonathon’s story already, I was very excited to learn Liam’s opinion of those events. I loved Mia to bits and pieces. I knew I was going to the moment we were introduced to her and I learned that she was a bit of a klutz. We’re kindred spirits in that way. I have some very split reactions to this pair. I badly want to take them and shake some sense into them and at the same time, I want to squeeze them tight in a great big bear hug and tell them it’s all going to turn out okay. I adored watching the antics of their families and friends, but I definitely wanted to shake some sense into that group of interfering busybodies. I’m now counting down until I can get my hands on the next book in the series. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.

Manscaping is the second book in The Playbook series. It is a highly entertaining read as Mia, the intern, is a bit of a klutz who has to watch her potty mouth because of her mother's teachings. The boss, Liam, ghosted her after an unforgettable night together. He had a rough life in the past that explains much of his current issues with romance. Will Liam and Mia have a second chance together or will the past tear them apart? I am looking forward to the next book in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was an excellent read. I loved Liam. He was just too yummy. It took a while to warm up to Mia . There was just something about her that was off for me.
