About the author

Emma Pickett IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), ABM Breastfeeding counsellor, PGCE, BA (Hons) is a lactation consultant who supports families in North London in-person and remotely worldwide. She is a volunteer with the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers and is part of the Breastfeeding Counsellor training team for the National Breastfeeding Helpline. Emma delivers in-person and online training and in 2022, she was the Lactation Consultants of Great Britain 'Outstanding Contribution to Breastfeeding' award winner.
