As a painter, she sends samples of her work to many art galleries in the bigger cities around her, and when one of her paintings is accepted by a prominent gallery in Las Vegas, Kiki knows nothing will stop her from leaving.

Without looking back, she leaves her family behind - keeping communication with only her siblings.
