This is it. After this, it’s all over. For better or worse, Milo and Isla are going to confront the truth and face the ramifications.

But those ramifications might mean death.

Or worse.

After Milo and Isla learn the identity of the man who murdered Milo’s wife, they have also learned too many hard truths that make their path to justice complicated. Like the corruption in the police department that might span further up the chain than they could expect. They’re on their own.

They need a plan to draw the murderer out. Or, more effectively, they need a lure.

Isla herself.

Milo doesn’t like it. Isla’s life would be on the line. He already lost the woman he loved. He can’t do it again. But Isla is committed to the cause. She hasn’t gotten this far to throw in the towel now. Nell deserves for the truth to come out, and Isla and Milo deserve to have their names cleared.

The only thing standing in her way is Milo himself. And he might be the only person who can save her.
