This is why EJD is my favorite author. This book took me through so many emotions. It was quite a ride. I hated how it ended but that's because I live through the books I read and, like most, I wish for my ending to be a fairy tale. But we know those don't exist. I hope to see Nia Simone in another book. Wouldn't mind seeing Karl or Mark either *wink wink*

I did not like this book. I couldn't get pass the first 200 pages. It was horrifying nothing I expected from EJD. He usually writes so wonderful with characters filled with promise and meaning.. This is by far one of the worst books I have read this year.
I liked the style of writing. THAT'S IT! It had a nice poetic feel to it. It started out really sexy, and very open. There were parts where I could feel just a tiny bit of pleasure.
And Then...
It got dirty. The sex was no longer erotic or sexy, it was dirty and nasty. Reading it made me feel uncomfortable at times and I thought that I would eventually throw up! (That is how disgusting it is)

This erotic adventure was a nothing short of SPI-CY !. . I was thoroughly surprised when I picked this one up, but I guess I should not have been too shocked since EJD has always possessed a particular genius for this particular fashion of racy writing. His ability to analyze the female psyche, and perfectly illustrate the complex minds of women is mystifying, since he is a man, but it just goes to show that he gets it. He gets women, and the achievement of this book solidifies that. The leading lady in this double-stuffed romance wrestles with satisfying her carnal desires while struggling to maintain her morality after she meets not one, but TWO perfect strangers.
