About this ebook

The Piper family are born from an ancient vampiric bloodline that has remained untainted for a thousand years. They have held onto the English throne for at least that long, handed to them through a violent war. Violence seems to course through their veins, for they are known to be cold and ruthless. As the new up-and-coming king, Sebastian Piper has grown to be much the same, leaving him alone and without warmth. On his 20th year, he dances with Seraphine Yale — a with fiery hair and a long, powerful ancestry of her own. Sebastian feels a strange pull — a desire for her blood. Unhesitatingly consuming it, the two find themselves forever bound, not just to each other, but to the situation that constantly threatens to cut the tie.

Friend will turn foe, siblings will betray, and duty will reign. When the moon rises over a world so unwillingly altered, only one warning lingers — be careful who you dance with...

About the author

Born with Cerebral Palsy, Erica grew up in New South Wales Australia. For as long as she can remember, she has always been reading and writing. Falling into a world of fiction was an escape from the difficulties of her reality. The first story she wrote was around 1995, and it was about a poodle. She was six years old. Now in her thirties, she has a Diploma in Professional Novel Writing, and has published several free novels on Inkitt, under the username LittleQuill.

As fictional worlds and characters helped her through her hard and lonely times, she hopes that the ones she creates can do the same for others.

When Erica is not tapping away on her keyboard and Microsoft Word, she enjoys video games, and being surrounded by the things she loves most. Her budgies, two cats, her husband, and of course, her much-adored loved books.
