When the gowns of an up-and-coming modiste are stolen, could her rival be to blame? Who better to find out than a bluestocking readers circle, aka the Heist Club? This book has all the things Erica Ridley does best: humor, quirky characters, and a light, entertaining story. This book can be read as a standalone, but you’ll probably enjoy it more if you read the series in order. So much fun! I received an ARC from the author, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

It’s a heist, a caper, a romp. A fun prequel to Nobody’s Princess, in this caper, it’s Sybil’s turn for shenanigans. It’s part of the Wynchester series but this is a companion series. Clever book club heist. Recommend.
