I hated Alpha in the series, he was so nasty. & I found his story to have nothing to really justify his behavior. He was just born ugly. I found his story quite a boring read, honestly. 🤷 Hence the 2 star rating unfortunately 😞 BUT HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SURVIVOR'S SERIES! I couldn't get enough of them & sadly just finished them all, so was excited to find these 3 short stories! Now, I'm on to "Moon's Choice!" LOVED Moon so much! ❤️🐾 Excited to her backstory! 🐾❤️

I hated Alpha until I read this. You feel for him in the beginning and even through to the end, with Calamity and all. I can't help but wonder if Calamity wound up having his pups and that maybe Storm is one of them. But who knows? Well worth the wait, I read it the second midnight passed and that it was available and finished it in an hour.

This is a great back story for our awesome Alpha, it made me respect the character a lot more. The emotions are strong and just like the other SUVIVORS books I love the dark/mature tone!
