I liked all the stories of this book, but two things annoyed me. First, not sure which story, but how it said "dropped onto its knees". Yes, cats do have knees, but they usually didn't use this word in most books, it doesn't sound animal-like. Second, the MOST annoying thing was how in Thunder's echo first said where Thunderstar was blockind DOORWAY, and later few times mentioned DOORS. Excuse me, which wild cat would use DOORS??? I mean, they live in the WILD, where bushes don't HAVE doors! Erins use too many human-things in the books lately which is very disappointing, and shows they are running out of imagination or ideas. But without that, the main idea to recall few things from original series and/or special editions, but from different side of view was a great idea.

So Victoria Holmes if you ever see this. Never write another story again. You normalized pedophilia and as an actual survivor this disgusted me

I think it's worth noting that Pinestar was already deputy, and thus probably older than Thistleclaw, when Leopardfoot's MOM was an apprentice/Spottedpaw's age. He didn't act as much of a stalker or groomer as Thistleclaw though. Either way, Pinestar learning to befriend the twolegs, and how he came to them to be their kittypet at the end, was beyond precious to read. Makes you want to hug your own cat. I also really loved that we got to see Spottedpaw's reaction to the dark forest and how she kinda worked alongside Bluefur to take down Thistleclaw. Overall just great stories and a fun read.
