Richard North Patterson’s eleven novels include the international bestsellers Degree of Guilt, Eyes of a Child, The Final Judgment, Silent Witness, No Safe Place and Dark Lady. His novels have won the Edgar Allan Poe Award and the Grand prix de Littérature Policière. A graduateof Ohio Wesleyan University and the case Western Reserve School of Law, he studies creative writing with Jesse Hill Ford at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
