Maccoy and Delphine are an amazing couple. She's fiery, determined, independent, and strong. He's solid, blunt, and loyal to a fault. He's also incredibly protective, which works in her favor right away! I felt for her because she was being handed a raw deal left and right, without much information in sight. I loved the two of them together! They team up to fight the BS they're dealing with, and claim each other in the process. Such a fantastic read!

This one was a bit different, more like 70's style. But it was really good, it's fast pace, the heat is very much alive in this book and I love it all.
