Livio Gambarini was born in 1986 and grew us in the delightful valleys between Bergamo and Lake Iseo. He is the youngest author published by Acheron Books. In addition to writing, he is a philologist and editor, having graduated with a dissertation on fantasy literature in Italy. He is now part of the teaching staff for the creative writing course offered by Milan’s Catholic University. He is undoubtedly best known for his first historical novel set in Lombardy in 1325 (“The Sin of the Parents”), but he has also written numerous short works of speculative fiction that have received awards and been shortlisted in Italian science fiction, fantasy and horror competitions. His hobbies include videogames, role-playing and mountain climbing along with a genuine passion for psychology. He has also dabbled in acting, parkour and Vietnamese martial arts.
