About this ebook

When the order is given to terminate F814, she finds herself not in agreement. Blame her defective programming, but she's not about to let a human destroy her. But freedom is lonely until Solus and his cyborg friends shows up and rescue her from a mining asteroid.

Emotions are for the weak, at least that's Solus' motto until he comes across Fiona. She thinks she's just a robot, but he shows her she's more than just a machine. And in the process, discovers love.

But before they can truly come to grips with what they are, first they must survive the human military that is determined to eradicate them all.

Like Hell. If there's one thing cyborgs understand all too well, it's how to fight, and survive.

The premise behind this story, and the series as a whole, is heartbreaking. Emotions run deep throughout the entire story, yet at the same time the action packed and exciting plot definitely sizzles. Langlais’ intricately crafted plot definitely held my attention throughout. I found the nano-tech endlessly appealing. Langlais not only sparked my imagination, but also kept my science minded brain endlessly reeling with the concepts that she brought forth. It was both chilling and exciting. Her vividly intricate world building makes it even more real. Let’s not forget the cast of characters that made this story even better. Langlais’ combines a heroine who believes she’s nothing more than a machine and a hero who believes he’s better off alone. This main couple held my attention throughout, but there was so much more to the story than simply them. I really enjoyed getting to know Seth, Aramus, and Einstein better. They’re all so different and their personalities and beliefs affect them each in different ways. This is a story so hot your ereader will go up in flames. At the same time, the story is exciting and chilling in its implications.

About the author

~ NY Times and USA Today Bestseller

Hello, my name is Eve, a Canadian mom who works full time as an author. In between juggling my three kids, hubby, and housework, I pen steamy romance--usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens lol. I love to write, and while I don't always know what my mind is going to come up with next, I can promise it will be fun, probably humorous and most of all romantic, because I love a HEA.

Happy reading!
