Going back to where it all began with Leoma and Braith! Brand new covers on a great series! Leoma and Braith are a great balancing pair. Vibrant and with a strong chemistry. They face adversity when they take on an abnormally strong coven. The tension in the story makes it zip along at a great pace. The romance is there but is definitely secondary to the plot. The dialogue is fun and flirty. Plenty of twists and epic magical battles!

This is book 1 in the Kindred series. Ironically, I read the last book 1st but loved it so much I had to go start at the beginning. Eversong is just as delightful. The plot is well thought out. The story has many twists and turns you never see coming. There's steamy bits, action and intrigue. The characters are fantastic as well. This book has witches, witch hunters, knights and even secret magical beings. There is nothing in this book not to love. Ms. Donna Grant has done it again, this series is GOLDEN

The first book in The Kindred series is a fascinating and sensational paranormal romance! Leoma and Braith are strong, bold characters that stand out as true heroes as they go up against a coven of witches. The romance between the two is sweet with lots of electrical chemistry flowing between them and the passion is hot but this relationship starts off with a knock out and some dangerous, high tension events and just keeps getting more interesting from there. Readers can easily relate to the characters since they can empathize with their motivations and how they came to be in the situation they are in with some witty dialogue and providing a few chuckles. Surprising twists and a host of wonderfully intriguing characters populate this story and the good versus evil plot that this series revolves around is full of suspense, thrills and explosive tension throughout this fast paced story which keeps readers on the edge of their seats and the suspense building currents that flow throughout guarantee that the readers can’t put this book down. The magical battles and the danger while spectacular is believable which makes it easy for the readers to get caught up in the story and since the author has once again used her brilliant talent to bring a vivid and fascinating world to life, readers can picture each and every scene as if they are taking part in this highly enjoyable romance.
