First Bullet Fired - a review by Rosemary Kenny. Jack Reacher's Special Investigators Book 9 by Dan Ames Is First Bullet Fired. The investigator in question is (Frances) Neagley, who by chance finds she's distantly related to the ex-girlfriend of a fugitive, psychopathic murderer. Why is he so determined to catch her cousin? First Bullet Fired has a really fascinating plot, and cleverly melds past and current events seamlessly and realistically together. The fully-developed characters' paths conjoin, leading to a satisfying conclusion for this fast-paced thriller, that I read in one sitting...it was that good. Why not grab a copy today - and tell all your friends!
