In this book, we find our super-cute dragon friends dreaming up their perfect healthy pie. They decide that it needs to contain berries but realize they cannot count well enough to know how many. Not to be deterred, they leap into action and find fun things to practice counting - from “one noisy drum” all the way to “ten happy hens”. Look out, along the way, for adorable toy shops, frogs, roller skates, etc.

One afternoon, just for fun,
Fable drew a dragon, enjoying the sun.
But that one dragon was not the end,
as Fable decided to give her a friend.
“Ooooh...” said Fable, “I like their look.
Maybe I should put them in a book?
It would be fun and fulfill my yearning
to help small children with their learning.”
A decision was made that the book should rhyme,
and the dragons would have a wonderful time,
but most of all, they would be on a quest
to always improve and be their best.
So in between, much other stuff,
six books were created. It was kind of tough.
There was much to do and much to learn.
Both ends of the candle had to burn.
But there was some help along the way.
A psychologist and a teacher had their say.
They gave their input and were very nice,
and humble Fable took their advice.
Now the books are ready and in the store,
and if they are liked, there will be some more.
Other things are on their way,
but what they are, I can’t yet say…
