About the author

Jacqueline McAssey is a Senior Lecturer in Fashion Communication at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. Prior to her career in education, Jacqueline worked in the industry in fashion promotion. She also works as a freelance stylist, styling editorial and commercial projects, events and exhibitions.

Sophie Benson is an Associate Lecturer on the Fashion Communication degree course at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. She previously worked as a freelance stylist and is now a freelance journalist covering sustainable fashion for publications including The Guardian, Dazed and AnOther.

Clare Buckley is Course Leader for Fashion Styling and Production at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, UK. She is an established fashion stylist and creative director and has worked within the fashion industry for over ten years as a fashion editor and stylist for publications including Russh, Wallpaper* and the Guardian: Weekend magazine
