Kiran Bedi is a Ph.D from IIT Delhi, with a postdoctoral Nehru Fellowship. She is an author, an Asian Tennis Champion, recipient of the Ramon-Magsaysay Award, and Presidentโs Police Medal for Gallantry.
She is the first woman to join the officer ranks of the Indian Police Service.
