Dalam setiap bab juga terdapat beberapa latihan. Gambar- gambar juga dibuat jelas, dan ditata dengan penomoran yang terkait dengan bab, misalnya Gambar 11.3 adalah gambar ketiga dalam Bab 11. Setiap topik latihan diberikan dua buah jawaban, namun tentu saja hanya ada satu jawaban yang benar. Maksud diberikannya dua jawaban adalah agar pelajar merasa tertantang untuk memecahkannya, dan di lain sisi mereka tidak bisa asal menebak jawaban atas pertanyaan yang diberikan. Bab ditutup dengan sepuluh soal, yang umumnya lebih sulit dari soal-soal latihan.

Dr. Alfred Boediman is an experienced senior executive who has implemented changes to answer business and technology needs across some areas in the technology, finance, and sustainability sectors. Alfred is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business-Asia Campus; he holds degrees from the Universitas Indonesia, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Rochester Institute of Technology, and the University of Chicago. His postdoctoral research examines the neuro-statistical approach in derivatives financial exchange combined with multi-layered market sentiment.
Alfred’s interest and training in technology research for cognitive socio-behavior and machine learning area. He is also an angel investor for several tech startups and advisor for the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago (Asia chapter); while enjoying organizational activities like Vespa riding, biking, archery, and cooking in his free time.
