Poppy Bright is a nurse at New York Hospital Center in Manhattan tending to a critically ill patient who has been in ICU for some time and is finally on the mend. He’s a man without a memory, no home and no one waiting for him. Smith is all the name he has. With his memory gone, he has no one to turn to and is completely without means. He’s overcome with gratitude for Poppy’s selfless offer to shelter him. When she opens her home and her heart to him, he falls for her and her high-spirited husky, Alaska. As he gets more entrenched into her life, she gets deeper into his heart. But what does a penniless, amnesiac have to offer her?

Zoe Dawson's writing journey started with poetry and branched out into fiction. With a couple of college English courses under her belt, she penned a historical, then moved onto contemporary romance fiction.
