5 -- Wild & Trouble -- stars Sydney’s best friend dumps her boyfriend after finding out he’s married. Sydney needs a change and drives to her best friend with all her belongings. Sydney is in a bad mood and decides to call her best friend’s ex. She curses and says bad things to him, until she discovers that she actually dialed the wrong number. The man she called, is Brian. Brian is laughing for the first time in months and enjoyed the phone call. He can’t stop thinking about Sydney and texts her. They become good friends that talk daily and they develop feelings for each other. Brian and Sydney are amazing characters! They are both a little damaged when they meet, but they heal each other. They learn how to move on and enjoy life again. Brian is keeping secrets from Sydney, because he wants to protect her and he doesn’t want to lose her. Even before meeting each other, Brian can’t imagine not hearing Sydney every day. He loves to talk to her, just like Sydney loves to talk to him. She can tell him everything and he really listens to her. Sydney is a sweet, caring woman and an amazing friend. This book also has amazing secondary characters! I loved every single one of them, from Brian’s little niece to the silent cook. There are so many characters that I’m hoping will have their own story one day. The next book is about Tori and Jamie. Those two made me laugh so many times! There is a lot of hate and lust going on between them, so I’m curious about how they will end up together. I loved every book I’ve read by this author, but this book is my favorite book by her so far! I loved it from start to finish. I loved it that one wrong phone number lead to love. I loved it that it took a while before Brian and Sydney met each other. They get to know each other first and I get to know the characters very well. It also made me constantly wondering when and how Brian and Sydney would eventually meet each other. I had a feeling that the first meeting was going to be hot and good, and it was. When they meet, everything goes pretty fast between them, but I didn’t mind that because it was clear that we were in love with each other. The banter between Sydney and Brian is also great. I can’t say anything negative about this book. A must read!
