Francine Pascal (Author)
Francine Pascal was one of the most popular fiction writers for teenagers and the creator of several bestselling series, including Fearless and Sweet Valley High, which was also made into a television series. In writing her stories, Ms. Pascal was inspired by her own memories of growing up and by the experiences of her three daughters. Francine Pascal lived in New York and the south of France. She passed away in July 2024.

Claudia Aguirre (Illustrator)
Claudia Aguirre is a Mexican lesbian comic-book artist and writer. She is a cofounder of Boudika Comics, where she self-publishes comics, and is a GLAAD Media Award nominee and Eisner Award nominee. Her comic works include Lost on Planet Earth with ComiXology Originals, Hotel Dare with Boom! Studios, Firebrand with Legendary Comics, Morning in America with Oni Press, and Kim & Kim with Black Mask Studios.
