Really? 60 dollars is a rip off when I can buy them individualy for 42. How about a discount of 30 dollars??, id be happy with that and u would probably get some sales instead of 1 star comments.

It's a classic, a masterpiece of Sci-Fi sagas. If you love Sci-Fi, you-ll fall in love with this. The only bad thing is the price, you get the collection for £24.99 when you can get each of the 6 books for £2.99 here... buying the single books is cheaper and you get the same stuff!

Better than I remember from my original reading of the books as a teenager in the 70's. Have read the first three so far, spoiled only by the frequent typos in Children of Dune, the typos, the typos!

About the author

Frank Hebert (1920-1986)

Frank Herbert was born in Tacoma, Washington in 1920 and worked as a reporter, and later editor, of a number of West Coast newspapers before becoming a full-time writer. His first Science Fiction story was published in 1952 but he achieved fame more than ten years later with the publication in Analog of Dune World and The Prophet of Dune, which were amalgamated into the novel Dune in 1965. Winner of both the Nebula and the Hugo awards, it is the best selling SF novel of all time.
