I still really enjoy this series! I have read the prequel, as well as books 1 -2, and then got lost reading tons of other books. But I am going to have to buy books 3-7 soon. I didn't like Bill at first, but no, he doesn't grow on you, he changes! He becomes a much more compassionate and thoughtful person amidst the growing masses of undead. I loved the prequel the most, and while it doesn't carry-over in terms of characters it's still the same storyline that it deals with. I am a walker-lover, I've loved zombies my whole life pretty much, but I do think these novels can also be enjoyed by those of you who don't breathe for the living dead. (Terrible pun, I know!!!) Thanks for an entertaining series!! -Amanda M. Heath '82

I loved all three books and just couldn't put them down, reading into the wee small hours. Never having read a zombies book before, I was really sceptical but there was no need. This is a truly compelling series and very well written. Thank you for the first three books, freely given.
