An enemies-to-lovers story, though the enemy part was more of a cover for true feelings. Raven was strong, intelligent, determined, and trying to keep Connor at bay. Connor took great pleasure in pushing Raven's buttons, but when it counted, he was there for her. I enjoyed the witty banter between them as well as their journey to understanding their feelings. I received a copy of this story through 1852 Media, and this is my unsolicited review.

This was an entertaining, emotional read that ticked a number of boxes for me and is Connor Jackson and Raven Montergo’s story. The sparks most certainly fly between these two, in fact you could almost say they sizzled and not always in a good way. From the first chapter I was invested in the story that Ms. Faber wove. The chemistry between these two build and its intensity was overwhelming at times. Their journey to love and happiness was not smooth but it was certainly entertaining.

This is the seventh book in the series. Another Jackson sibling is up. This is Raven and Connor's story. my heart goes out to raven. Life has really put her through the emotional ringer, but the life she has created with her group of friends who are family is the rainbow after the storm. Though you can see the internal struggle she deals with, but luckily she finds Aunt Pat. Connor is prime book boyfriend material. He truly has a heart of gold and a protective heart as well.
