Jean Rabe is a fantasy and science fiction writer who sometimes dabbles in military fiction and mysteries. She’s an avid reader who has far too many books to fit on her bookshelves, and she resides in a tiny town in Illinois with her husband, three dogs, an obnoxious parrot, and an assortment of tropical fish. Brian Thomsen was a Hugo Award-nominated author. He wrote more than thirty short stories and collaborated with Julius Schwartz on Schwartz’s autobiography. He was also a founding editor of the Questar Science Fiction publishing house and served as managing fiction editor at TSR, Inc.
