them grow as better, kind and caring individuals, which is much needed In this time and day, Not
only do children learn from this story, but also elders who read to them, it’s a lesson for all ages, on
how to be patient and kind to each other, making life fruitful, how the behavior of an adult can make
a difference in the mental growth of a child. It opens our eyes to our ignorance towards the beauty
of nature, and priority towards materialistic things, the more we teach our children to be one with
nature by our own example, and spend quality time together, the more the children spend their
precious time carefully rather than spending time on gadgets, watching data (videos, songs etc.)
inappropriate for their age and health. Kids are growing in a world of machine and internet; the gist
of life and real happiness is lost in the midst of our artificially operated world today. Let’s help our
kids find a way out of this machine maze towards nature and true happiness.

A BSC graduate, worked in the field of Marketing and Administration. Hobbies- music, singing,
dancing, drawing. This particular book is inspired by my curious little girl who is a blessing in my life,
and my mother, when I would see my mom patiently telling my girl stories, and how attentively she
would listen to her grandma and ask endless questions. As a child my father, late Mr. Raymond
Rodrigues, would swing me while telling me stories and singing lullaby’s, I loved it and would ask him
to repeat it over and over again. He is my inspiration, that is where my love for stories begun I spent
my vacations reading comics and fairy tales, which are lovely and has a different essence to it, but I
think children need to hear and read more realistic stories too at the same time, so that our little
girls don’t just get carried away with the “happily ever after’s” or “a handsome prince coming to
rescue them”. I dedicate this book to my dear Father. Also would like to mention gratitude towards
a dear friend, who has been that one push that you need to take the first step, and believing in me,
it is this friend that encouraged me in a way to go ahead and publish my book and also to keep
writing.
