Gunjan'- B. D. Kher's collection of stories is thoughtful , light-hearted and tell a lot. While portraying his own experiences in the form of a story, the author has mastered the rhythm of easy reading of 10 more stories such as ``Pathivarcha Dev,'' `` Moscowtil tee kholi!,'' ``Manyachi purse,'' ``Pakshitirth,'' ``Kode'' and ``Gunjan''. Each story is a different experience. Some stories are numbing and introspective. The sufferings in the story seem to have been experienced by us at some point; the moments of joy and happiness in some stories are familiar. The wide experience of the author and the different shades of human life captured through subtle observation are expressed in these stories. All the stories in this collection are lucid and enjoyable and they make us realize that even though man is different, he is emotional.

著者について

B.D. Kher was born in Karjat in Ahmednagar. He was co-editor of Dainik Kesari for 20 years and editor of Sahyadri for 10 years. He has also edited Samagra Tilak and Savarkar Sahitya.

So far, he has published nearly a hundred small books. He was the first to bring the biographical novel into Marathi. Among them 'Yadnya' on Savarkar, 'Krantiphule' on Chapekar brothers, 'Kalpavriksha' on Mahabharata, 'Samar Saudamini' on Queen of Jhansi, Charlie Chaplin on

The novels 'Hasare Dukha', 'Sarathi Sarvancha' on Shri Krishna were especially popular. Also, the novel 'Hiroshima' on atomic destruction in Japan was also popular. Apart from this, translated books like 'The Princess', 'Vadaal Vara', 'Adhantari' also became popular. He wrote uninterruptedly for fifty years.
